Selling a Home

Buying a home is a transaction between two homeowners. They may have different goals, but both home buyers and sellers are interested in the same thing: a smooth transaction. This is my expertise. Listening to clients, hearing what they’re saying, and working toward the results they want is what I do best. Not all real estate agents have the same expertise, and being a skilled negotiator takes years of practice.

I have been mediating successful agreements my entire career, so I recognize opportunities in circumstances that others miss.

For Sellers

No one wants a long drawn out sales process when they’re selling their home. The best way to avoid that situation is by being prepared to sell. Are there areas of your home that could use improvement? Have you leveraged all of the attributes and unique features of your home? You may already have a mental list of circumstances that are deal breaking, but do you know how to recognize circumstances that lead to deal making?

Recognizing Value

Setting the right price for you home is very important, and so is recognizing the many facets of its true value. So tell me the story about where you got the rocks that line your garden pond, or when you planted the hedge. Let’s consider the pros and cons of buying new appliances to give a more current feel to your kitchen. My understanding of the local real estate market and my ability to connect with people allows me to recognize what’s truly valuable to potential home buyers.

Agency and Disclosure Statement

New rules for real estate licensees came into effect in June 2018 to enhance consumer protection by:

> Increasing the number and frequency of disclosures that real estate licensees must make to consumers, and
> In almost all cases, preventing real estate licensees from acting for both a buyer and a seller in the same transaction.
